Privacy Policy

Proxyma (proxyma.space) is a free Chrome extension that routes your browser traffic through a proxy server you choose. This page explains exactly what we collect and what we don't.

What we collect

When you connect through the extension, we log an anonymous connection record: a timestamp, the country you connected to, and the connection duration. That's the entire list.

What we never collect

We do not log the sites you visit, page content, search queries, form data, or anything that identifies you personally. The extension has no access to your browsing history — it only has permission to configure the browser's proxy settings.

Retention

Anonymous connection records are kept for 30 days, then permanently deleted. We don't sell, share, or otherwise use this data beyond basic service health monitoring.

Ads

The popup shows contextual ads to cover server costs. These ads are matched to general context, never to your individual browsing history — we don't build a profile of you.

Permissions

The extension requests only proxy, storage, and alarms — plus network access to our own API to fetch proxy status. It does not request <all_urls> or any host permission beyond that.

Third-party infrastructure

Traffic is routed through third-party proxy servers and network providers. We don't control what those providers log on their end, though our own logging stays limited to the anonymous record described above.

Contact

Questions about this policy, or requests to delete your data under GDPR/CCPA: email privacy@proxyma.space, or open an issue on our GitHub repository.
